Description

The Cyclists War Memorial is a First World War memorial built in 1920. It features a large granite ashlar obelisk with a stepped top, standing on a pedestal that has an inscription panel on the front. This memorial was erected to honor cyclists who lost their lives in the First World War. In 1963, a bronze plaque was added to the side of the pedestal to commemorate cyclists who were killed in the Second World War.
