Description
Bottom Lock at Brades Locks is located approximately 130 meters north of Brades Hall Bridge on the Dudley Road East, along the Gower Branch of the Birmingham Canal. This lock, completed in 1835, features a brick chamber with sandstone kerbs and cast iron sluice gear. It has single gates and serves as a connection between the Old and New Main Lines of the canal.
