Description

This is a row of late 18th-century shops and offices on the east side of Market Street. The building is constructed of red brick with a machine tile roof featuring gable ends. It extends for three storeys and has nine windows. The windows are mostly barred sashes, some with segmental heads and stucco lintels. The central two bays have prominent window dressings with finely moulded cornices. The entrances feature panelled doors set within moulded wooden cases, topped with entablatures and rectangular fanlights. Two passageways are present, each with an arched head and a panelled door. Numbers 63 to 75 form a visually cohesive architectural group.
