Description

The Parish Church of St Thomas, built in 1726, is a Grade I listed building located on the west side of Market Street. It features red brick construction with stone dressings and has an aisled rectangular layout with a west tower. The church is adorned with round-headed windows, quoins, and a panelled parapet that includes inset balustrades. A chancel was added in 1890, designed to be in keeping with the original structure. Inside, there is a richly panelled barrel vault.
