Description

These are early 19th-century brick buildings on the west side of Bedford Street. Numbers 20 and 22 are two storeys and an attic, with two windows each, featuring casement windows with two or three lights, leaded and set flush under cutter flat arches. Three hipped dormers are present, and the half-hipped gable end has a third window aligned with the dormers. The front door is of a modest, neoclassical style reminiscent of Robert Soane, incorporating incised pilasters and entablatures with cornice hoods. A small 19th-century shop window is located on the right-hand side. Numbers 14 to 22 form a cohesive group.
