Description

This barn, located approximately 30 meters southwest of Cooper's Bank Farmhouse, dates from the mid to late 18th century and has some alterations from the mid 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain-tile roof with brick dentilled eaves. The barn consists of six bays and is a high single-storey threshing barn, characterized by opposing central double doorways and brick cambered arches. An unusual feature of the barn is the rows of ventilation holes that run all around it. Inside, there are mid-19th century queen-post trusses.
