Description
This barn, located approximately 20 metres east of Cooper House Farmhouse, likely dates from around 1700. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features a stone slate roof. The barn has stone quoins at all corners and around the jambs of the central wagon door. To the left of this door is a small board door, and there are paired ventilation slits on two levels in the side walls and three levels in the gables. The left gable includes two ground floor windows. There is a modern extension at the rear. Inside, the roof trusses are supported by raking queen struts and collars.
