Description

This barn, located approximately 13 meters northeast of Cooper's Farmhouse, dates back to 1743, as indicated by an inscription on the tie beam. It features weatherboarding over a timber frame, resting on a brick and rendered base, and has a half-hipped roof made of corrugated iron. The barn has a five-bay aisled plan with blocked openings leading to a central threshing floor. Inside, there is a five-bay collar-truss roof that includes curved inner principals and clasped purlins, along with curved windbraces and arch-braced posts.
