Description

These are two 16th-century cottages, later refronted with red brick, with Number 10 further altered by a whitewashed pebbledash finish. They have a tiled roof. The timber frame is exposed at a left-angle and on the side elevation. The cottages are one storey high with attics, featuring two casement windows set flush into the facade. These windows have cambered arches, glazing bars, and louvered shutters on the left side. A gabled dormer window with a casement was added in the 19th century on the right. Numbers 6 to 12, Brinklow Road, form a group.
