Description
Nos 110 and 112 on Gough Road are a pair of semi-detached villas built between 1850 and 1855. They are tall, two-storey buildings with an attic and feature a narrow two-bay front. Constructed from red brick with stucco trim, they have a plinth with narrow rectangular fielded panels above the first-floor windows, a bed mould to the frieze, and a dentil eaves cornice. The gable end has a slate roof with a common central stack. The ground floor features tripartite windows set in architraves with cornices, while the single first-floor windows also have architraves with consoles supporting the sills. The doorways in the end bays are framed with architrave surrounds. The eaves cornice moulding continues up the gables.
