Description

The White Swan Public House, also known as ‘Dirty Dick’, appears to date from the early 19th century, although it may be of older origin. It is stuccoed with a tile roof. The building is two storeys high and has six gabled bays. The ground floor features four canted bay windows with slate roofs, the first two sharing a single roof. A modest entrance door is set beneath a gabled hood ornamented with a trefoil. Two further canted bay windows with slate roofs are situated to the right. The first floor has six two-light casement windows with canted reveals and hood moulds in a Tudor style.
