Description
31 Wake Green Road is an Arts and Crafts house built around 1905-1908, located in Moseley, Birmingham. The building is constructed of red brick and features a pair of half-timbered gables that jettied over small first-floor leaded canted bay windows. The framing jetties over a broad ground floor bay window that has both mullions and transoms, topped with leaded lights.
To the right of the main structure is a canted two-storey town porch, which has a canted hipped roof turret on its right side, adorned with sandstone flush dressings. The porch includes a deep round-headed splayed doorway, which is faced in ashlar and decorated with studded waterleaf rosettes. There is also decorative leading in the lights on either side of the doorway. The roof is steeply gabled and tiled, with flanking chimney stacks that feature arched panels.
