Description
No. 8 Wake Green Road is a building dated 1885, constructed of brick with a tiled roof featuring coved eaves and decorative ridge tiles. It is designed in a style reminiscent of Cadogan Square. The building has two storeys plus an attic and consists of three bays. The left bay features a Dutch gable, while the right bay has a larger shaped gable with a pediment.
On the ground floor, there are two windows that together form a bay window, which has a balustraded balcony above it. There is also a closed porch with an arched entrance and a balustraded balcony above, along with a canted bay window that rises through two storeys and carries a balustraded balcony. The first floor has two windows treated as one, each topped with a Dutch gable that breaks into the coving. Additionally, there is a single window set in a recess with dentilled moulding below the coving. In the attic, there are three and two light casement windows. Most other windows are sashes with original glazing bars. Attached to the right is a coach house featuring a segmental arch and a shaped gable.
