Description
This is a house dating from 1905, built in the Arts and Crafts style. Constructed of brick with stone dressings, it features a tiled roof with iron brackets extending widely from the eaves. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and comprises two bays. The left bay has a conventional two-storey canted bay window, incorporating some tile hanging and a small gable. The right bay is more imposing, with a broad, octagonal turret topped with a conical roof rising from it. The ground floor features a porch and flanking mullioned and transomed window, treated as a single unit, with Greek-inspired decoration above an elongated oval fanlight. A three-light mullioned window is situated on the corner of the first floor. The interior has been altered.
