Description

HAGLEY ROAD 1. 5104 (south side) Edgbaston B16 Nos 86 to 92 (even) SP 0485 NE 38/3 II GV 2. Early C19. Terrace originally with 2 coach houses in the middle and one at either end. Alterations and the demolition of the coach house of No 92 have obscured the symmetry. Stucco; slate roof. Two storeys; each house 3 bays. Ground floor rusticated and with central door flanked by Roman Doric columns and with a fanlight and 2 sash windows in shallow arched recesses. Band at first floor sill level. First floor with 3 windows, the centre one 3 panes wide, the others 4. No 86 with one late C19 canted bay window on the ground floor. No 88 with the whole ground floor built out as a shop front. Nos 90 and 92 with a late C19 bay window on the ground floor.
