Description

This is a 17th-century timber-framed barn located 24 yards to the east of Cottage Farmhouse in Old Milverton. The barn features red brick infill panels set on a sandstone plinth and has a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends. There are a pair of wooden doors on both the north and south elevations. Inside, the barn has collar and tie beam trusses with angle struts. The west end was extended by one bay in the 19th century using brick.
