Description

The archway, built around 1751-1757, serves as a triumphant entrance to Guy's Cliffe house. Constructed from ashlar, it features a rusticated round arch carriageway. At the top, it has a lantern-like structure with concave sides, a cornice, and a pyramidal cap topped with a finial. The archway is flanked by round-arched rusticated pedestrian entrances, each adorned with urns above.
