Description

The street railings and gate at Number 77 Regent Hotel in Royal Leamington Spa were created around 1818 and are made of cast iron. They extend across the front left side of the hotel for approximately 3 metres and continue around the trees to the left in three sections, each about 2 metres long. The bars feature finials with a triple feather motif, which are more elaborate on the stanchions. These railings are an important feature of the streetscape and contribute to the setting of the Regent Hotel.
