Description
No. 1 Forfield Place is a house built around 1830-1840, with later additions and alterations. It features reddish-brown brick construction with a painted stucco front facade and a cement-tile roof. The building has two storeys and three first-floor windows. On the first floor, there is a continuous moulded sill band and a central blind opening situated between two 6/6 sash windows. The ground floor has a central entrance that consists of a part-glazed, four-panel door, which is framed by Tuscan pilasters, a frieze, an architrave, and a cornice, with additional 6/6 sash windows on either side. All windows are set in plain reveals and have sills and tooled architraves. The house has end stacks with cornices. The interior has not been inspected.
