Description

This stable, located 8 yards to the west of Wiggerland Wood Farmhouse, dates from around the 18th century. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar with timber framing in the apex of the gables. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with plain tiles, featuring gabled ends. Some of the original ashlar has been replaced with red brick. Inside, the structure includes queen posts that rise from tie beams, and angle struts that extend from the upper collar beams.
