Description

This stable, dating from the 18th century, is located approximately 15 yards north-west of The Stone House. It is constructed of ashlar stone with herringbone tooling and features a plain tile roof with coped verges on kneelers. The building is aligned north-west to south-east and consists of one storey and a loft, with two bays. There is a door on the right side, while the rest of the front is partly obscured by a later addition that is not of interest. The right gable has stone tallet steps leading to a loft door, and the left gable includes a square pitching hole. Inside, there is a pegged open timber roof.
