Description
Ash House is a house that was originally built in the early 18th century and later remodeled in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone with herringbone tooling and features a plain tile roof with a coped verge and an integral ashlar end stack. The house is oriented to face south-west and has two storeys. It has a chamfered eaves band and consists of two bays. The first floor has two-light chamfer mullioned windows with casements, while the ground floor has a three-light chamfer mullioned window on the right and a casement window on the left, which is set within a 19th-century surround of a former mullioned window. The entrance is located at the left-hand gable. Ash House is adjacent to Stansmore House on the left.
