Description

Vysehouse is a house dating from the early 18th century, with later alterations. It has a roughcast exterior and a plain tile roof, featuring a brick integral end stack and a ridge stack. The building has a three-cell lobby-entry plan, oriented north-east to south-west and facing north-west. It stands two storeys tall and has three windows, which are casements with segmental heads. The entrance includes a six-panelled door, with the upper two panels glazed, and is sheltered by a mid-19th century latticed porch. The eaves are decorated with a fretted fringe. Inside, the house is noted for its staircase, which has turned or splat balusters located at the rear of the central bay.
