Description

26 Smith Street is a building dating from 1781 that has been refronted in the 19th century. It features a stucco exterior and a machine-tiled roof with two gabled dormers. The building is two storeys high and has two first-floor canted oriel bays with sash windows. It includes quoins and a cornice above the ground floor sash window. Originally, it was similar to the adjacent No 28, with a cornice and roof that are aligned. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 4 to 28 (even).
