Description

This is a circa late 18th century brick house located on the east side of Wellesbourne Road, Barford. The house has a low-pitched slate roof and a brick eaves cornice. It is two storeys high. The central entrance features a six-fielded panel door within a pilastered doorcase, topped with an entablature and a flat hood. Flanking the entrance are splayed bay windows with casement windows containing glazing bars. The first floor has two sets of cross mullion and transom windows, also with glazing bars, and a central blocked window. Two brick chimney stacks mark the gable ends.
