Description

Warburton House is a late 18th-century brick house on the east side of the High Street in Brant Broughton and Stragglethorpe. It has a pantile hipped roof and two brick wall stacks at either end. The house stands two storeys high and is arranged with three bays. A brick plinth runs along the base, with a band marking the first floor and a decorative eaves cornice at the top. The central doorway is topped by a flat wooden hood, and contains a half-glazed door with a margin light overlight. Single glazing bar sashes flank the doorway, and three similar sashes are above, all with segmental heads.
