Description
Brant Broughton Church of England School is a building that dates back to 1871, originally serving as both a school and the schoolmaster's house. It is constructed of red brick with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof with ashlar coped gables and kneelers, along with two brick stacks. The schoolroom, located to the south, is a single storey with four bays, supported by four ashlar capped buttresses. It has four three-light mullion windows, each containing three cusped lancets. To the north, the gabled house has a three-light mullion window and a two-light mullion window above, both positioned under relieving arches. The upper window is inscribed with the year '1871'. There is also a north doorway featuring a four-centred arched doorway with a plank door. This building is included for its group value only.
