Description

This is an early 19th-century building at 26 and 28 St Nicholas Church Street. It is constructed of red brick with an old tiled roof edged with Welsh slates. The building is two storeys high with an additional attic level, featuring two box dormers with casement windows. The front has three sash windows on each floor, with glazing bars, set within reveals and under rusticated stucco heads with keyblocks. A pair of central doorways feature six-panel doors, oblong fanlights with glazing bars, four slim ribbed pilasters, decorative capitals, and a continuous entablature. Nos 18 to 30 (even) form a group.
