Description

Nos 56 and 58 on Smith Street are a late 17th century building with a front made of painted brick and an old tiled roof featuring two gables. The structure is two storeys high and has two flush casement windows. There are modern shop windows that do not have cornices on their fascias. The building has early 16th century origins and includes reset panelling from the late 16th and early 17th centuries. The listed buildings on the south side of Smith Street, from Nos 54 to 76, form a group.
