Description

Tinkers Hatch, located at 105 West Street, is a medieval house of Wealden type dating from 1781. It features a timber frame with a Queen strut roof truss and is finished in roughcast with a tiled roof. The building has overhanging eaves on the left side and an oversailing first floor on the right. It stands two storeys high and has casement windows. Tinkers Hatch is part of a group that includes Nos 105 to 111 (odd).
