Description

This building comprises two properties at 81 and 85 West Street. It dates from around 1630, or possibly earlier, and has undergone alterations. The exterior is finished with whitewashed pebble dash, and features a tiled roof. The building is two storeys high with attics, and includes three gabled dormers, as well as two flush casements. It is recorded in the Victoria County History, volume viii, page 435. The listed buildings from numbers 71 to 91 on the south east side of West Street form a group.
