Description

No. 131 High Street is a Wealden type house with a rectangular plan, dating from around 1500 or earlier. It features a timber frame, with the ground floor walls rebuilt in brick. The house has a recessed center, a plaster-covered first floor, and a steeply pitched tiled roof with a coved cornice. It stands two storeys tall and has three windows, with the outer casements being three-light and the central window being a large double-hung sash. Nos. 123 to 131 (odd) form a group.
