Description

The Marquis of Lorne Public House is an 18th-century building located on the west side of High Street. It features a red brick façade and an old tiled roof with a gable on the left side. The structure is two storeys tall and has five sash windows with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are three canted bay windows. The entrance is highlighted by a ribbed door surround with roundels at the corners and a cut bracketed hood above. To the left, there is a segmental arch leading to a carriageway. The Marquis of Lorne Public House is part of a group with Nos 132, 136, 138, and 140.
