Description

The Locke tomb, located immediately north of the Church of St Mary in Preston on Stour, is a chest tomb dedicated to Thomas Locke, who died in 1781. It is constructed from ashlar stone and features a moulded plinth and edge along its faceted top. The side and end panels are plain but break forward, with the side panels adorned with flanking panelled balusters.
