2, The Hamlet is an 18th-century cottage located in Bidford-on-Avon. Originally listed as No.23 Marlcliff, it is constructed with light timber framing, plaster infill, and whitewashed brick. The roof is tiled, and there is a brick stack at the right end. The cottage has a single-unit plan and has undergone alterations. It is one storey with an attic, including one dormer window. A 20th-century door sits in the facade, along with 19th and 20th-century casement windows. A 20th-century addition extends to the rear.
