Description
This is a group of four chest tombs made of limestone, located approximately 5 meters south of the tower of the Church of St. Mary. One of the tombs dates from the mid-17th century and features a heavy moulded ledger, pilasters at the corners, and decorations including a skull and crossbones and putti. Two of the tombs are from the mid-18th century; one is dated 1754 and has a moulded plinth, panels, and baluster corners, while the other, dated 1760, features a heavily moulded ledger, panels, baluster corners, and a cartouche with a putto on the west side. The fourth tomb is dated 1797 and includes moulded panels and a heavy moulded ledger.
