Description

The Mews is a house located facing the churchyard in Kineton. It was built in the mid-18th century with an early 19th-century extension. The structure is made of brick with buff headers and features a renewed tile roof, which includes brick end stacks and a cross-axial stack. The house has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic, displaying a four-window range.

The exterior is characterized by a top modillioned brick cornice. The ground floor windows have segmental heads and consist of small-paned casements with iron opening casements, mostly arranged in groups of three lights. The extension at the right end has two-light casements on each floor. One window to the right of centre is partly blocked and features a 20th-century two-light casement. The attic includes three restored gabled dormers, each with two-light casements, two of which have one leaded light. The right side of the building has an entrance with a bracketed canopy above a 20th-century plank door. The rear of the house has a short gabled wing and a 20th-century single-storey wing. The interior has not been inspected.
