Description
This is a barn located approximately 45 meters northwest of Little Compton Manor, dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is built of squared coursed limestone with quoins and features a stone-slate roof. The barn has five bays and a large gabled porch at the center, which has a doorway infilled with breeze blocks. There are double plank doors and a lean-to range at the rear. The left gable end has a damaged 2-light mullioned window, while the right gable end contains nesting boxes and a 20th-century window. Inside, the barn has a trenched purlin roof with collars, original purlins, and some original rafters. This barn is included for its group value.
