Description
This monument, located approximately 3 meters south of the porch of the Church of St. Mary, dates from the late 18th century and is made of limestone ashlar. It features a large moulded plinth surrounded by iron railings and stands about 3 meters high. The structure is polygonal in shape, with cusped panels and tall, slim buttresses in between. At the top, there is a crenellated parapet adorned with cusped panels and quatrefoils, although some finials are missing. Above this, a lantern-like support features cusped arches and carved spandrels, with another parapet above that has three broken finials. The monument culminates in a polygonal spire with small windows, topped by a carved finial. It is dedicated to the Samson family and dates back to 1750.
