Description
This stableblock and dovecote, dating from the 17th century, is located approximately 10 metres northwest of The Dower House. It is constructed from squared, coursed limestone with coped gables and features a stone slate roof with stone end stacks. The building has three bays and a range of three doorways, with the leftmost doorway having a wooden lintel. To the centre right, there is a 19th-century two-light casement window with a wooden lintel, while the left side has an 18th-century three-light casement window, also with a wooden lintel. Inside, there is a chamfered ceiling beam and some original purlins. The central section of the stableblock serves as a dovecote.
