Description
This shelter shed, dating from the 18th century, is located approximately 100 meters northeast of Shelfield Park Farmhouse. The back wall is constructed of regularly coursed limestone, supported by timber posts. The roof is made of old tiles, which have been extensively patched with late 20th-century tiles, and the rear has been reroofed. The structure consists of four bays and features an open front and sides, with the roof hipped to the right. Inside, it retains a hayrack and has a through purl in the roof with ties and collars. This shelter shed is part of a group that includes Shelfield Park Farmhouse and a barn.
