Description

The right gatepier, located approximately 10 metres north of Shelfield House, is an early 18th-century structure made of rusticated ashlar stone and topped with a stone ball finial. It is part of a group that includes the left gatepier, Shelfield House, a cartshed, and a dovecote, all of which contribute to its group value. The gatepier is shown on the 0.6 map as part of Shelfield Square Farm.
