Description

The Cote is a cottage dating from the mid-18th century, constructed of random bond red brick with a thatched roof and brick external stacks. It features a two-unit outshut plan, is one storey high with an attic, and has two ground-floor windows. The central entrance is a plank door, flanked by casement windows with glazing bars, and there is one window under segmental brick arches. The left side of the building has a full-width external stack and an attic window. At the rear, there is a low outshut. Inside, the cottage includes an open fireplace and a bread oven.
