Description
Dinglewell Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, with some parts built in the mid to late 18th century. The front range is made of colourwashed brick, featuring a brick string course and cornice. It has a late 20th-century tile roof and brick end stacks. The rear wing is partly timber framed with lath and plaster infill, some sections underbuilt in brick, and partly constructed of brick. The roofs are covered in tile and slate, with brick stacks. The building is L-shaped with a wing at the rear and stands two storeys high with a two-window range. There is a mid-19th-century half-glazed door with a brick porch. The late 20th-century windows are set under segmental arches with keyblocks. A moulded panel is present on the first floor. The right return side features an irregular wing with some exposed timber framing in the upper part. The interior is noted for having some exposed timber framing.
