Description
This is a mid-18th century cottage located on the west side of Main Street, Long Compton. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone with quoins, and has a thatched roof with stone end stacks. The cottage follows a three-unit plan. The two-storey facade has a three-window arrangement, featuring 20th-century two- and three-light casement windows with wooden lintels on the ground floor. A 20th-century door is set within a thatched stone porch centrally placed. To the left is a one-storey thatched stone range with a 20th-century casement window. The interior retains spine beams and an open fireplace.
