Description

Appletrees is a cottage dating from the middle of the 18th century. It is constructed from squared coursed limestone with quoins. The roof is thatched, with stone and brick end stacks. The cottage has a three-room plan and a three-window front. The windows are C19 and C20 three-light casements with wood lintels on the ground floor. A C20 lean-to porch provides access to a C20 front door at the rear. The interior has not been inspected, but is likely to be of interest.
