Description
This pair of headstones, located approximately 6.5 meters northeast of the northeast corner of the north aisle of the Church of St. Peter and St. Clare, dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century. They are made of carved ironstone and are very similar in design. Each headstone features a moulded segmental top, a winged head with drapery, and a moulded shaped panel with a segmental top, flanked by volutes. These headstones are included for their group value.
