Description

This headstone, located approximately 9.5 metres east of the northeast corner of the chancel of the Church of St Peter and St Clare, dates from the early 18th century. It is made of carved ironstone and features a Baroque style. The headstone has a moulded top adorned with winged heads and a cartouche. The large, bulging cartouche is framed by drapery and putti, with skulls at the base. It is included in the listing for its group value.
