Description

This is a pair of headstones located approximately 7 meters south of the south door of the Church of St. Peter and St. Clare. They date from the late 17th century to early 18th century and are made of ironstone. The headstones are almost identical and are richly decorated with carvings of heads, flowers, and scrolls that frame a large shaped cartouche. They are included in the listing for their group value.
