Description

This is an 18th-century coach house situated approximately 15 metres east of The Grange in Farnborough. Built around the mid-18th century, it features a slightly later addition to the left and alterations from the late 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of regular coursed ironstone and has a tile roof with moulded coped gable parapets, moulded kneelers, a stone stack on the right end, and a shaft and internal brick stack to the left, made of blue brick. It is two storeys high with a two-window front. A plank door is located above ground level on the left side. There are two wide coach house doorways with wood lintels and part-glazed plank doors. The upper floor has three-light windows with horizontal glazing bars. Inside, a wide straight staircase leads to the first floor, along with late 19th-century fireplaces. The building is included on the list for its group value.
